After two separate trainers declared that our dog Gracie could not be rehabilitated, Diane and Gabe had a different prognosis, based on their extensive experience with dog reactivity. Gracie barked and lunged at dogs on walks. Training sessions helped us establish a leadership role, so that she can take direction from us and focus less on other dogs. Ruby, our dog with a missing front leg, was capable of walking but chose to lay down in the middle of a street. We learned how to keep her moving with the right training cues. Otis was a chronic puller on leash. With the recommendation of an effective leash and training, his walking skills  have improved tremendously. "Diane and Gabe made a very fragile adoption doable. I adopted Heidi, a German Shepherd, that was rescued with a serious wound from a chain embedded in her neck among numerous injuries. I brought her home to my 2 small dogs because I was told she was a dog friendly senior. What I did not factor in was Mother Nature. Heidi's prey drive kicked in as soon as she saw my small dogs.  I thought I had just put myself and the dogs in a horrible situation.
